Hi!.....I know it has been a long time since I wrote to you all with any news or personal info. Quite simply I have been the full time mother of two babies under three years of age (to my constant delight I may add) and have been involved in many different projects, acting, performing, voice overs, writing and producing and recording. All of these endeavors, rewarding as they are, require a great deal of time either traveling or in studios. So as you can imagine as I slowly creep toward my fortieth year, my life goes on at a blinding pace and I have rarely a moment to spare. I hope that you all know I keep your good wishes and words of encouragement in my heart to spur me on when my energy fails me and a deadline looms. Although you have not heard from me, I hope my work has been speaking for its self. Those of you who have been following my career at length will probably be aware that this is a time of great personal happiness and renewed creativity. My new C.D. "FREEDOM" which was commissioned by M.C.A. Japan, I feel reflects this. All of the songs have a real place in my heart, some of them I produced or wrote and one in particular is an open love letter to my children, and a prayer of thanks for the spiritual light which shows me the way, any time I start to get lost. As you know, it is not always easy to gain radio acceptance unless one tows a particular production line or follows the fashion trend. So I decided to come to you, my fans, directly on "THE NET" with the chance to purchase a few thousand copies of "FREEDOM" that I had personally manufactured here in the U.S. This way, hopefully you can bypass those outrageous import prices! I include a calendar poster from a brand new Randee St. Nicholas shoot to let you know that I hear your constant requests for up to date pics. By the way, she is still the queen of photography, in my opinion!
This official Web Site is new and the only one endorsed by me, giving some direct access to my new company SkyJay Trax. So please be patient if it does not contain all the news and info you may wish. It will take a while to get up to speed with all your requests. I want to be part of this process, whenever family and music permits me the time. But when I cannot, please know that this is a forum for you to interact with other fans, get up to date news and advanced warning of any future releases, and if not frequent letters from me.....(I can't promise!) Then at least the odd post card!
Right now it is summer, I hope to take a little time off, as the kids are eating way too much airplane food. It will not be a time of total leisure as I still have some performances (for private companies) and my cartoon "All Dogs Go To Heaven", my song writing and business to attend to. I am also planning a trip to film a photo safari in the wilds with wolves and bears..... I'll let you know how that went when I get back, and if I learn how to use my camera correctly, I'll even share some of my photos with you.
Anyway, I hope this is the start of something good. Let's give it a shot anyway. And if enough of you out there want the new "FREEDOM" C.D., hopefully I will be able to get the next one out to you real soon.
