Letter from Sheena - Holiday 1997
How are you all? How is the season for you? Jolly. .. I hope. I end my year on a high note (no pun intended)- I am once again on the road performing in "The Colors Of Christmas" with James Ingram, Patti Austin, and Peabo Bryson. It is a great way to get into the holiday spirit, singing all those classic Christmas songs, duets, and hits and sharing the stage with such talented artists - not to mention the fun we have backstage. I had just completed two weeks of dates in Japan prior to starting "The Colors Of Christmas" so I have seen quite a few of your smiling faces these last months - that always makes me happy and makes all the traveling worthwhile. I will have Christmas day at home with the family. We are all really looking forward to it. I won't be cooking any of the important food (any one who has tasted my cooking say Amen!) - but I have been entrusted with a couple of the side dishes. However, I intend to make cookies from scratch as I do every year and the kids will decorate them and no doubt each other with messy glee. Next year will be a busy one. Already invitations to perform have come in. We will keep you posted on any dates as we commit to them. I have a few other creative projects that I am working on - We'll let you know details here on the web site when we can. Most of all I am looking forward to another year as a Mom watching my children grow and change and learning all the lessons in love they have to teach me. I hope you and all who are dear to you have a Healthy and Happy New Year, filled with Peace and Love.
